NETWORK ATTORNEYS

NETWORK ATTORNEYS
The McKeel Group operates on a lean business model, using a network of attorneys with a wealth and range of legal and business experience–providing the expertise and level of help clients need on individual matters, large or small, without the overhead of a big firm.
Network attorneys have the opportunity to engage in top-level legal work backed by an alliance of exceptional colleagues with a wide range of expertise. They have the flexibility and independence to manage their own practice with the power to provide the highest level of legal services at value-based fees.
How it Works:
- we select highly-experienced, knowledgeable and collegial attorneys to join our network
- network attorneys are engaged on a per-project basis to provide specialized work for McKeel Group clients
- we are mutually available to provide specialized work for Network Attorneys who need expertise outside their practice area and Network Attorneys can provide specialized work and support for each other
- engagements are on an independent contractor basis with terms for each engagement agreed in advance; conflicts of interest checks are performed for each engagement
- Network Attorneys have control over their schedule and billing rates, and are free to accept or decline work projects as they choose
- specialized work for growing and dynamic companies
- a network of attorneys with a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from
- a moderated community for collaboration with other Network Attorneys
- Network Attorney introductions and events–so you get to know your colleagues in the Network
- in-house CLE to meet your continuing legal education requirements
- practice management resources to optimize your legal practice
- access to flexible office space arrangements
- access to legal research tools
Our Network Attorneys come from a wide array of backgrounds and we value diversity. Network Attorneys are solo and small-firm practitioners, stay-at-home parents, and lawyers with business interests outside their law practice, among others.
If many of the following statements apply to you, you may be a good fit as a Network Attorney:
- you have at least 7 years of high-level experience in a legal specialty servicing businesses and business owners
- you have experience working in a private law firm (including your own), as in-house counsel, for a court, or in a relevant government agency
- you enjoy representing growing and dynamic companies and being part of their success
- you want to be part of a highly collegial and collaborative group of lawyers contributing to their collective success
- you value a more flexible law practice
